The Opportunity

The Board of Directors, Senior Events Manager is responsible for facilitating and coordinating all activities related to the organization's board of directors. This role involves managing communication, logistics, and administrative tasks to ensure the board activities function smoothly and support the organization's strategic objectives. As Senior Events Manager, you are responsible for planning venues, coordinating logistics and resources, and interacting with customers and stakeholders.
1. Board Meeting/ Event Coordination
- Schedule and organize board meetings, committee meetings, and other relevant corporate events.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and supporting documents.
- Plan, execute, and oversee Marvell corporate events to include meeting logistics, room reservations, catering, and AV setup.
- Create and manage budgets.
2. Communication and Correspondence
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the board and Marvell.
- Manage board member communications, including email, phone calls, and written correspondence.
- Ensure timely distribution of board materials, announcements, and confirmations for events at Marvell.
3. Board Member Engagement
- Help foster positive relationships among board members, executives, and other stakeholders.
- Arrange board member travel and accommodations for meetings, as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in planning and executing on high-profile events.
- Knowledge of corporate governance principles and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using office software.
- Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with care.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
102,620 - 153,700, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
