POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant Director, Future Grads High School Programs supports the successful execution of the Future Grads High School Program across partner high school campuses and Orange Ave clubhouse in North County (South San Francisco and Daly City). This role serves as a key leader within the College & Career Programs team and reports to the Director of Future Grads High School Programs. 

This position requires a strategic, detail-oriented, and collaborative leader who can navigate complex school partnerships, support staff and volunteer coaches, and ensure high-quality program delivery throughout the academic year. The Assistant Director, Future Grads High School Programs  plays a critical role in supporting first-generation students in reaching their desired postsecondary pathways and successfully transitioning into the Future Grads Postsecondary Program.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Management

  • Support monthly execution of high school programming at partner schools and Orange Ave clubhouse, including Leadership Academies, Crew Leader Academies, Lunch Meetings, Student Advising, CTE Courses, Summer Apprenticeships, and VITAL
  • Support implementation of longer-term initiatives, including Senior Coaches, College Tours, Personal Narrative Writing Sessions, Summer Academies, Career Informationals, Career Field Trips, and Crew Socials
  • Conduct monthly program observations and Program Quality Assessments (PQA) to strengthen program quality across grade levels

Strategic Planning & Curriculum Development

  • Support development of curriculum aligned with HSPS engagement criteria and BGCP’s Theory of Action
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Future Grads High School Playbook as an onboarding and implementation tool
  • Design and support recruitment and retention strategies to meet program participation and engagement goals

Collaboration & Partnership Building

  • Support school partner meetings to share outcomes and maintain strong relationships with school leadership
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, High School Programs and Postsecondary teams, Volunteerism and volunteer coaches, Program Strategy, and Clubhouse teams

Evaluation & Impact

  • Support development of strategic objectives and site plans guiding individual and team goals
  • Lead quarterly progress conversations with team members to monitor performance and program outcomes
  • Use data and outcomes to inform continuous program improvement

Budget Management

  • Manage budgets associated with the Future Grads High School program
  • Monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with approved annual budgets

Perform additional relevant duties as assigned to support evolving organizational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • At least 1 year of successful experience working in an educational environment
  • At least 1 year of demonstrated experience managing, coaching, and supporting staff or teams
  • Strong knowledge of higher education eligibility requirements, college application processes, and financial aid systems
  • Excellent writ
