Senior Salesforce Developer

Description

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will relish the opportunity to dive into our system and take ownership of our development pipeline while setting up best practices for success. The role involves creating and supporting lighting components, Visualforce pages, custom applications, data structures, and integrations with third party systems using our middleware solution. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will lead complex projects, using your ability to drive success while working hand in hand with our stakeholders and Salesforce team to support and enhance our Salesforce instance. 

Travel: 100% on site, hybrid option after 90 days of employment 

Location: Omaha, NE 

Job Functions

• Working with Salesforce team and management for development solutions and direction
•  Working with Technology and Salesforce teams to provide solutions for 
• Creating and maintaining Lightning Components and Visualforce pages
• Managing deployments between sandboxes and production environments
• Using Salesforce integration patterns, best practices and capabilities including APIs, security, authentication, SSO, etc. in Salesforce applications
• Designing and developing processes, flows, workflows, business processes, Apex classes, controller classes and Apex triggers for various functional needs in the application
• Providing direction to admin staff where necessary
• Conducting regular data audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness
• Understanding business requirements and considerations, and developing, validating and documenting processes for the organization
• Providing training and support to users
•  Managing release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
• Integrating or manage and maintaining business applications within our org, such as DocuSign, Accounting Seed, FlowGear, Workato, etc.
• Collaborating with company leadership and operations and other systems to integrate solutions
• Staying up-to-date with Salesforce best practices and new features 

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer 
• Salesforce Advanced Developer certification preferred 
• Strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs 
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS 
• Excellent problem-solving skills 
• Strong communication, critical thinking and leadership skills 
• Proven experience in Salesforce administration and configuration 
• Experience in Sales or Service Clouds 

Preferred Requirements: 

• Primary work location in Omaha, NE or other Alff US office location 
• Industry-based work experience a plus 
• Team leadership experience preferred 
• Experience in data visualization preferred 
• Experience in finance processes and software a plus
