General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) has an opening for the position of Cloud Developer (Ref# CD527VK).
Work Location: Position may telecommute / work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
Job Duties: Design, architect, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions. Responsible for performing IT Service Management (ITSM) activities including service request resolution, incident management, and problem management for the Cloud Program. Work closely with other teams within the Cloud Program to support the day-to-day operations of cloud systems and provide support to all Cloud tenant teams. Operate and support cloud-based infrastructure, network operations, capacity, and resource management for the cloud program. Provide support in the form of troubleshooting activities for standard problems encountered by end-users. Work with internal and external customers to diagnose and resolve issues with cloud infrastructure and services as they arise. Learn and use different tools and technologies within the AWS Cloud ecosystem including AWS EC2, RDS, S3, Route53, AWS ECS/EKS, AWS VPC, etc. Support large-scale cloud platform that supports mission critical applications, take point on end-to-end support and smooth operations of cloud-based infrastructure, support change windows, incident response and resolution, and other scheduled maintenance activities. Analyze customer requirements and provide technical knowledge on cloud cluster computing techniques and technologies of moderate complexity. Assist with the research, evaluation, and deployment of cloud computing systems and large data analytics. May assist customers with data integration and migration efforts, including mapping schemas and defining domain specific ontologies. Assist with the development of large data technologies, algorithms, and applications. Perform Windows and Linux system administration. Maintain current knowledge of relevant cloud technologies as assigned.
Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. Plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related experience. Position requires 1 year experience with AWS Cloud and Windows administration. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification (or higher) required. 40hrs/week.

The likely salary range for this position is $90,100 - $121,900. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
