Coordinator, BWTC

Perform daily and emergent:

• Cleaning tasks including development and execution of cleaning schedules.
• Minor maintenance and repairs to the building, furnishings, and equipment for the BWTC.

Provide administrative support during operating hours at the BWTC, maintaining fitness room memberships through cash and computer input

Purchase and track janitorial, building and equipment supplies

Maintain and monitor furnace computer program

Upkeep and maintain BWTC grounds/exterior lease area

Ensure the facilities are maintained in a safe and clean condition according to applicable health and safety standards and WinSport policy

Coordinate BWTC fitness room memberships

Prepare the BWTC for pre-booked functions and events

Act as support for the Haig glacier program, Spray Village and major ski events

Ensure the security of the buildings and their contents

Demonstrate a safe work practice at all times by adhering to  all  WinSport safety policy and procedures and ensuring one’s own  safety is  preserved along with the safety of co-workers, direct reports and WinSport guests

Be mindful of all safety hazards/concerns within the work environment and ensure all safety issues are reported to the appropriate individuals

Review all OH & S notices/meeting minutes as they are distrusted or posted on OH & S boards located within all departments

Ensure safety orientation is completed with all new or returning employees covering all the required safety hazards and specific safety training for specific areas

 

Qualifications     

 

Ability to maintain effective working relationships with the general public, athletes, coaches and support staff

Experience in facility maintenance and dealing with the public

Ability to work independently with little supervision

Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve

Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications

High School Diploma plus two years working experience
