The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $92,185-$115,232

Purpose:
This position provides recovery support to Cyber Assurance Leadership by working closely with Operational Smart Grid (OSG) departments including Control Systems and Automation, OSG Telecommunications, OSG Infrastructure, OSG AMI, Distributed Automation. In addition, this position collaborates with other areas outside of OSG and across departments including Process & Technology, Innovation, Corporate Security, Corporate Risk, Legal, Insurance, Audit, Investment Planning, and Regulatory as needed to ensure that recovery capabilities across the IT/OT Technology environment will meet or exceed the Recovery Time (RTO) and Recovery Point (RPO) objectives. This position is responsible for ensuring the ability to recover critical business and OT systems, in a timely and organized manner, in the event of a successful ransomware attack or other high-impact event. This will be accomplished by the implementing/updating of Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Processes (DRP) for each department.
Responsibilities:
•Support the SR. Manager of Cyber Recovery across departments in support of Business Continuity (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP)
•Update and maintain the BCP and DRP to enable the organization to respond to any service interruption or other emergency that impacts the information technology systems while minimizing the effect on business operations.
•Assist with aligning the IT and OT DRPs with the BCP to ensure business continuance and minimize company losses in the event of a disaster
•Work with Subject Matter Experts, suppliers/contractors, project teams and other technical staff to identify, design and support development of the BCPs & DRS testing and maintenance.
•Work with technical teams to create/maintain recovery procedures/plans ("Run Books")
•Assist in defining, scoping, and testing DR Service levels such as DR Tiers, Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs), Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) and others.
•Coordinate changes to the BCPs and DRPs.
•Drive the population and sign off of incident postmortems.
•Coordinate with the departments to ensure availability and up to date BCPs and DRPs.
•Assist and coordinate DR related testing schedules, objectives, exercises & reviews.
•Gather data and metrics to provide reportable information on the measure of success of the DR tests and exercises.
•Work with the Cyber Recovery Team to Identify deficiencies and make recommendations for improvement to existing BC/DR processes and procedures.
•Provide BCP/DR documentation review schedule and status to senior management as needed.
•Coordinate technical design/review activities with various segments and corporate groups; to engage Cybersecurity, Risk & Governance, Enterprise Architecture and Operational Compliance at appropriate stages in the project.
•Continuous process improvement activities as required to align with corporate policies.
•Complete assigned duties/task as needed.
Skills and Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience Required:
•Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical related degree with a minimum of 4+ years’ experience in Cybersecurity or
•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical related degree with a minimum of 7+ years’ experience in Cybersecurity, Technical Writing, Disaster recovery, Business Continuity or
•Associate Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical related degree with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in Cybersecurity, Technical Writing, Disaster recovery, Business Continuity.
•Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related equivalent work experience.
•Working knowledge of system recovery methods.
•Ability to facilitate the development of DR program(s) and strategy with key stakeholders.
•Working knowledge of virtual environments (VMware & Others).
Skills/ Abilities:
•Strong communication and administration skills related to IT and OT technology.
•Strong background in recovery, backup and restore technologies.
•Strong understanding of current and future state of recovery planning.
Desired Skills/ Abilities:
•4 to 6 years of experience in planning and executing Disaster Recovery operations in an enterprise environment.
•Business Continuity Planning/DR Certifications from an industry recognized certification board such as DRII, BCI.
•Knowledge of federal government disaster recovery activities and practices.
•Experience in federal or state regulatory environments.
•Experience in federal cybersecurity agencies and environments.
