Veterinary Pharmacy Technician Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists (CCVS) | Buzzards Bay, MA
Pay: $22–$26/hour, commensurate with experience and credentials

Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Veterinary Pharmacy Technician to join our specialty and emergency team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented technician who’s confident with pharmacology, enjoys keeping things organized, and thrives in a fast-paced hospital supporting multiple departments.
What You’ll Do

Ensure medications are appropriate, accurate, and ready for patient discharge across all departments
Fill prescriptions efficiently and accurately, including labeling, documentation, and processing
Support inpatient care by preparing medications during busy periods in ICU
Handle and prepare injectable medications for inpatient treatments with precision and confidence
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant medication workspace (inventory organization, stocking, and expiration awareness)
Mentor and support staff as needed

What We’re Looking For

Strong comfort level with pharmacology, dose calculations, and prescription workflows
Experience and confidence in handling injectable medications for inpatient treatment plans
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to prioritize under pressure
Clear communication skills and a team-first mindset
Veterinary technician experience preferred; credentials (CVT/RVT/LVT) are a plus

Schedule Expectations

Primary shift is 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, Monday through Friday
This role also includes holiday coverage and on-call shifts as part of the pharmacy support rotation
