Job Description:

Logistics Analyst Advisor

The logistician provides integrated logistics support services to a mission-focused media exploitation technical program. This person is responsible for ensuring the program’s requisite products are ordered, received, packed, and shipped in a timely manner. A successful logistician must have outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills, be at ease working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to adapt to customer-driven requirements. This person should have strong problem-solving skills and be self-motivated. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Coordinate and execute the direct procurement of program equipment and tools 

• Initiate, record, and preserve work order documentation for the acquisition of component items from vendors 

• Assemble media exploitation kits  

• Research, prepare, and maintain transportation documents 

• Maintain accurate inventory of all materials and equipment 

• Follow client and company policy procedures for property management 

• Other duties and projects as assigned 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE  

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field, or the equivalent combination of education or work/military experience 

• Two (2) to five (5) years of experience managing and performing logistics work 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Experience in receipt, accountability, and maintaining inventory of stock supplies/spare parts 

• Comprehensive knowledge of international shipping requirements, including ITAR and export control requirements 

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 

• Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills 

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. minimum 

• Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch, and knee

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
