Operated by OSUWMC and Ohio State’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, BHUC offers adults immediate support for mental health or substance use concerns through walk‑in or scheduled visits—either in person or via telehealth. It serves as an alternative to the Emergency Department for routine or urgent behavioral health needs and provides rapid‑access follow‑up appointments within seven days of psychiatric inpatient or ED discharge.
