TRA Behavioral Health Technician - Local Contract - Brookwood Baptist Med Ctr

This role provides direct clinical patient care with Tenet's in-house contingent Pool, Trusted Resource Associates. This local contract position will be located at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center.  Work directly with Tenet on a Local Contract.  With this in-house assignment you will be part of the contingent workforce pool, yet, a W-2 Tenet employee. You will have direct access to Tenet's hiring managers and, if you ever turn permanent at a Tenet hospital, you will have built up tenure.

 

Job Summary: 

Facilitate the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and assists patients with daily living activities. Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients. Knowledgeable and competent to respond to patients with behavioral health needs. This position will support all the facilities in the market as needed.

Takes vital signs, weighs patients, and collects routine specimens. Attends and participates in group therapy.

Education:

Required: 60 hours of human services, psychology, education, sociology, or related field; or High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years recent CNA experience.

Experience:

Required: 1 year of clinical experience.
Preferred: Clinical experience with behavioral health patients.

Certifications:

Required: CPR, CPI Certification.
