Valet Parking Attendants

UPP Global is a growing full-service parking management company with expertise in all verticals of parking. We are active in 8 states along the Eastern Seaboard with over 300 locations! We are looking for multiple Valet Attendants for our Providence, RI location.

• Hiring for Part-time and full-time shifts!
• Earn $16+/hr. (Combination of base hourly wage and CASH TIPS!)
• Weekend and holiday availability is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
• Provide exceptional hospitality services to all guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner
• Be responsible for parking and retrieving guests vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner
• Assist guests with bell service, directions, taxis, reservations, information about meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility and other inquiries as needed
• Assist guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage during arrival and departure
• Transport guests via the hotel shuttle service
• Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the day
• Must provide excellent customer service
• Must have good hand-eye coordination, as driving is required for a duration of the shift
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds
• Must possess a current drivers’ license and willing to undergo a MVR (driving record) check.
• Must have a good work ethic and be a team player
• Must maintained and groomed, professional appearance
• Must be at least 18 years of age and willing to undergo a criminal background check
