Production Team Lead

Work Location & Shifts:       1120 Industrial Ave, North Platte, NE

                                                2nd Shift 5:00pm-3:30am Monday -Thursday      ��            

 

Pay:   The hourly pay rate for this position is 25.47 + shift differential and benefits.  Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.   This information is specific to North Platte and may not be applicable to other locations. 

What your day in this role might involve at OC-North Platte:

 

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures on the production floor
• Monitor workflow and communicate production priorities to team members
• Support employee training and onboarding for new hires
• Address minor employee concerns and escalate issues to management as needed
• Ensure employees are properly using required PPE and following plant procedures
• Other duties as assigned by the team lead and Supervisor

• Provide leadership at the Tier 1 Meeting ensuring metrics are reviewed; metric misses are addressed with countermeasures, root cause identification, corrective actions, with assigned responsibility and target completion dates and ensure any support required is identified and verified.

• Assist in maintaining the integrity of Tier 1 and 2 Board data and information.

 

• Assist in assigning team members to daily work assignments and ensure all required training and certifications are evaluated and complied with for the assignment.

 

• Maintain housekeeping and safety of Tier 1 area. Provide training, demonstration and coaching to assigned process/team
• Provide regular communication, feedback, coaching and ongoing support to all employees
• Monitor and ensure a positive work environment for all employees

• Must be familiar with machinery and have good math and measurement skills.
• Must have knowledge of proper door sizes, as well as what a reject door looks like.
• Must read and write English.
• Must have good attendance and safety records.
• Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities.
• Prior leadership, team lead training or mentoring experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, policies and production documents
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization

There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to:

• Stand for 10 - 12 hours straight
