TSI Intern - Administrative Coordinator
Are you ready to kickstart your career in administrative coordination? AVL Test Systems, Inc. is offering a valuable opportunity as the AVL Intern – Administrative Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing comprehensive administrative support to the top management team, supporting a variety of tasks to help the team operate as efficiently as possible. Day to day responsibilities will include tasks like schedule coordination, report/expense processing, meeting setup, etc.
This internship program spans 4 months, running from June through September 2025 (we understand hours in Sept maybe reduced due to fall class schedule.) As the AVL Intern, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule, with a few days working from our Plymouth office each week. Normal working hours will be around 8 am to 4 pm, and can vary based on management/intern request.
Ideal candidates for this position should possess exceptional communication and organizational skills. The ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment, coupled with a strong inclination towards self-learning, are key attributes that will contribute to your success in this role. In addition, microsoft skills are a requirement, with candidates needing to possess strong skills in excel, powerpoint and outlook.

ROLES:
- Manages office operations for the President and staff.
- Schedules meetings, travel, appointments for the President, others on the President’s staff,
- and executive visitors.
- Files expense reports for the President and staff as directed by President.
- Presents a professional image as the direct representative of the President.
- Communicates with others about the President's schedule, as required.
- Organizes events including all details such as venue, catering, invitations, etc.
- Creates/edits presentations and reports using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Provides administrative support to other parts of the organization as time allows.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- High School diploma
- Working toward applicable degree
- Excellent organizational and record keeping skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Desire to learn
- Willingness to start ‘at the bottom’ to learn processes and functions the AVL company
- Located in Plymouth, MI
