Office Lab Tech/Phlebotomist Cartersville Draw Lab

Job Summary:

The Office Lab Tech/Phlebotomist performs a variety of clinical duties necessary to the daily operation of the laboratory. These duties include, but are not limited to accurately collecting specimens, performing phlebotomy (both venipuncture and capillary collections), performing point of care testing and inputting accurate results into the lab computer system, performing and maintaining records of quality control measures, and meeting competency standards as demonstrated through proficiency testing. Office Lab Techs/Phlebotomists perform all duties in compliance with organizational policies an OSHA guidelines.

Requirements:

 1. High School Diploma

 2. Successful completion of Certified Phlebotomy training program

 3. Basic knowledge of the use and operation of general office equipment
