Spend Manager, Classified Systems

ABOUT THE TEAM 

As a Spend Manager, you will be responsible for managing Anduril software licenses and work across multiple business lines to rationalize license and contract spend. You will also be responsible for managing software spend, third party vendors, enter POs, forecast usage, manage and optimize license types, and manage the Anduril Classified Software Team.

ABOUT THE JOB 

This new role will oversee and develop financial models for the business tied to software spend goals and forecasting.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Inventory and manage Anduril new and existing software contracts and licenses for corporate and business systems
• Manage the New Software Onboarding workflow with emphasis on spend management, prioritization, and measuring business impact, with our ISSM and Software teams to ensure compliance with individual programs and business line needs
• Maintain software license repositories, databases, and artifacts and build vendor contract renewal process
• Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of software license & software asset management platform in collaboration with CorpTech counterparts
• Champion software license best practices, policies, and procedures for the department
• Drive software integration and spend rationalization, focused on driving overall capabilities mapped to best outcomes for the individual programs across the organization
• Coordinate with business lines and broader teams to align software strategies with the department’s overall objectives
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to analyze software and vendor requirements and develop spend strategies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in finance or banking with a minimum of 3 years in organization-wide program roles
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
• Proven track record of managing contracts, budgets, and projects, with a track record of financial modeling and reporting
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer service
• Ability to travel as needed
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• MBA with a concentration in finance, or equivalent master’s degree
• 10+ years of experience in finance or banking
• Experience with Jira or equivalent project management software
• Experience in leading spend management programs over $1M
• Experience in Software Procurement, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or Business Operations roles

US Salary Range$90,000—$135,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
