About the role

**Generous student loan forgiveness eligible with 3-year commitment**

Join our team as a New Grad CRNA Apprentice where you will provide patient care and support during general, regional or MAC anesthesia. Additionally, you will have responsibilities for patient safety while under anesthesia. The CRNA works with the staff Anesthesiologist and Surgeon to provide all elements of a safe and beneficial surgical procedure.

Regions Hospital is a verified Level I Trauma Center for both adults and children with the expertise and technology to treat the most serious injuries 24/7. We have a stellar team of 50+ Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists who provide care for patients of all acuity levels across 21 operating rooms. We perform over 14,000 surgical procedures annually with surgical specialties including: orthopedic, neurosurgical, vascular, cardiothoracic, plastics, ENT, general, OB-GYN, eye, urology, colo-rectal, burns and Da-Vinci robotic cases.

Our collaborative Anesthesia Care Team works hard to support each other while still allowing for independence.

What is a CRNA Apprentice? To support candidates’ immediate employment, Regions offers an apprenticeship program for new grad CRNAs. This allows the hospital to start our new hires prior to the credentialing process (which can take 3-6 months) being completed. Once the process is complete, we transition you into a CRNA role.

At Regions Hospital you’ll find a warm, diverse group of people who are committed to helping our patients – and each other. We foster an inclusive environment that encourages new ways of thinking, celebrates differences, and recognizes hard work. We’re also committed to living our values. This means you can expect us to be your partner and treat you with dignity and respect. Join our team and make good happen!

Work Schedule:

Regions has a variety of FTE options (80 hours, 72 hours, 64 hours, and 48 hours per pay period) with the ability to find the right schedule mix for staff. Most shifts will be day/evening. Some weekends and nights may be expected.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate from School of Nursing
  • Graduate from School of Anesthesia or Certificate of Anesthesia program
  • Certified by the NBCRNA
  • Current RN license by Minnesota Board of Nursing
  • Current APRN license by Minnesota Board of Nursing

We also have a Center for Employee Resilience that provides support and evidence-based practices to bring relief and build resiliency.

As part of the total benefits package, Regions Hospital is pleased to offer a Loan Forgiveness program for students hired into the CRNA role. Loan Forgiveness is different than a sign on bonus, in that you will receive the full amount within the first two paychecks upon employment with Regions Hospital, with no payroll taxes deducted. Candidates are eligible to receive up to $50,000.

For candidates outside of the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area, a relocation assistance bonus may also be available.
