Production Technician – Join a Growing, Innovative Healthcare Tech Team!

Location: Gort, Co. Galway
Contract: 6 month contract
Shift: Day Shift – Mon–Thu 7:00–16:00, Fri 7:00–12:00 (your weekends start early!)

As a Production Technician, you’ll be part of a dynamic team manufacturing cutting edge PC based medical diagnostic systems (EEG/EMG/IOM) used by healthcare professionals around the world.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will be a key contributor to the success of our production team. Your responsibilities will include:
• Building and assembling high quality medical devices using specialised tools and procedures
• Ensuring materials and components are accurately processed and issued to Work Orders
• Prioritising daily tasks using kanban and inventory reports
• Partnering with engineering teams and senior supervisors on process improvements and new product introductions
• Maintaining precise documentation and meeting all quality and safety standards
• Participating in lean initiatives and contributing to a continuous improvement culture

What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a team-focused environment. Ideally, you will have:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• 3–5 years’ experience assembling, configuring, or testing medical devices
• Strong hands on skills: wiring, soldering, and hand assembly
• Good IT and computer hardware assembly skills
• Basic MS Word & Excel skills; experience with Oracle databases is a plus
• Ability to interpret technical procedures and produce clear documentation
• A practical, problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail
• Flexibility for rotational shifts during peak periods

Additional Skills (a bonus!)
• Knowledge of GMP/GDP standards
• Experience operating automated equipment
• Understanding of JDE/SAP/Oracle systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
