About You
You have led or played a key role in the definition and development of HW, SW or system products for the automotive BMS or powertrain. You are both a technical and people leader in your current role but are hungry for a new challenge. You are naturally curious and seek out to valuable problems to solve even when this takes you outside your area of domain expertise. You take team leadership seriously and work hard at supporting your teams growth and development. You will have worked on several projects from concept through to production release and may have held a Technical Lead role on one or more projects. As a systems Engineer you understand the value of systematic development process and are adept at system engineering processes and tools. You know that innovation is a team sport and have proven yourself to be a strong team player at an organizational level.

The Role
As the leader of a team of System Architects you will take a leadership role in the development of Battery management and powertrain systems comprising of multiple sensor ICs, processors software and algorithms. You will be responsible for steering the team of system Architects through the development of all new products, working closely with system test, software development and applications teams. These projects are at the cutting edge of electrification technology and highly visible within the company. You will be able to jump in as contributor to work products, but the primary role is to manage, lead and direct the team.

  • Lead, manage and inspire a team of system architects working in battery management and electrification
  • Create a vision for the team that is aligned to ADI and Electrification’s team long term goals and set out and communicate a strategic plan towards that vision.
  • Establish strong relationships with other functional leads like Software, Quality and Program Management to ensure alignment on scope, process, and responsibilities to meet customer expectations.
  • Within the Systems team collaborate and align with system test and modelling on process, requirements traceability, requirements quality, project planning and test strategies.
  • Manage team budgets, career development and performance reviews.
  • Recruit and develop the best talent.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and customer architectures and provide thought leadership on these topics both internally and externally.
  • Support advanced technology initiatives related to BMS and electrification.


Your Qualifications: 
Minimum BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering; MSEE or MSCE and 10+ years of experience preferred
