THE OPPORTUNITY:

Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.

 

The Sephora internship program is also a prerequisite for consideration for LEAP, the cross-functional rotational program that provides on-the-job training in each of three Business Units-Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, over the course of nine months.  LEAP prepares successfully performing trainees for a full-time, entry-level role in one of the three Business Units.  Interns are invited to apply to LEAP at the beginning of the summer internship. 

 

PROGRAM DETAILS:

An inclusive and engaging experience that develops technical and professional skills through weekly virtual workshops, networking opportunities, and career panels that provide exposure to Sephora’s career growth opportunities.

 

2024 PROGRAM DATES:

• June 3 – August 16
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, PST
• HYBRID Role: 
  • Monday, Thursday, Friday Work from Home
  • Tuesday and Wednesday In Office
• July 1 – 5: Week off for vacation

 

POSITION TITLE: DISTRIBUTION INTERN

YOUR ROLE AT SEPHORA...

As the Distribution Intern, you will work closely with the Distribution Team to learn about the different roles within Supply Chain and what each contributes.  You will walk away with an understanding of how stores are supported with the right levels of inventory to support their sales.

 

 

 

 

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH:

• New Item Launch reporting
• Create and run In Stock reporting to identify Inventory opportunities
• Create Events in the system
• Support creating Transfers and Cycle count Reporting
• Analyze Overstocks in stores
• Demonstrate our Sephora values: Passion, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect, Teamwork, and Initiative.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Preferred:  Basic Excel Skills
• Strong Writing and Communication Skills
• Detail Oriented
• Aptitude for analyzing data

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: 

• Graduating in 2024 or 2025 (undergraduate or graduate degree)
• Remote & hybrid program – work schedule must align with Pacific Standard Time  
• Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.  
• Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions *
• Available for the 1-week On-Site office experience in San Francisco, CA 

 

*hybrid positions = require part of work week days in the SF headquarters office

 

The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
