The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $120,000 and $130,000/year*

Team Overview:

The Loan IT team is currently 2 developers and support professionals based in London with responsibility for supporting the Loan IQ trading platform for the global loan business.

 

The team provides development and support for loan traders, sales and operations staff in New York, London, Hong Kong, Mumbai and Singapore.  The primary loan trading platform is Finsatra’s Loan IQ, the most widely used loan trading and administration system.  Development projects range from small enhancements to the deployment of Loan IQ to new business locations, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, release management, project management and governance.

 

While the team is not formally organised along RTB/CTB lines the team provides a support service based on key support personnel in London and New York. Issues which are not immediately resolved by 1st line support are passed onto the development team for resolution.

 

Department criteria:

Lead developer required for Loan trading systems. This role would involve strong real time development and object oriented skills and a proven ability to turn high level specification into high quality solutions in tight deadlines.

 

Role / Principal Accountabilities:

Hands on development and leadership role working in very strong global technical team

Prinicpal contact in New York for the team

Development of business components across Credit products

Ability to write high performance real time solutions working across teams to solve problems from to back.

 

3 key objectives critical to success of the role:

Develop and extend server side frameworks for the integration with internal systems

Business service development in close collaboration with front office trading desks

Ability to lead development with vendor support teams

 

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

Oracle SQL

Java

Spring

Object Oriented design and development

Desirable:

Knowledge of Loan IQ and Syndicated Loans

Hibernate frameworks

Oracle knowledge

 

Knowledge Required:

Essential:

Experience of full project lifecycle (requirements, design, development, tesing, deployment, version control)

Desirable:

Experience of investment banking, especially Credit and Syndicated Loans

Front Office Trading systems
