This is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to join the corporate accounting team of a thriving hospitality management company. Responsibilities
- Perform accurate daily bank reconciliations for corporate accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and balanced
- Record and process financial transactions with precision in QuickBooks and other accounting systems
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, maintaining strong vendor and client relationships
- Generate, process, and track invoices for corporate operations to ensure timely payment collection
- Provide essential support for payroll processing and related accounting tasks
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date financial records across multiple accounting platforms
- Assist with month-end closing procedures specifically for corporate financials
- Collaborate with the existing accounting team to provide seamless bookkeeping support
- Follow established procedures and standard operating practices while maintaining high accuracy standards
Requirements
- QuickBooks certification and demonstrated proficiency in the platform
- Solid experience with US accounting principles and standard practices
- Previous experience working with international clients, with preference for US-based companies
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial record keeping
- Strong proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and best practices
- Proven experience with bank reconciliations and systematic transaction recording
- Working knowledge of basic payroll processing procedures and requirements
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures and protocols
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration with team members
- Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup for remote work
