  • Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level. Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change). Assists senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives. May play a role in administering talent management and succession planning activity within client organization. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Director, HR Business Partner, to serve as a strategic partner in our Creative Product and Digital Media Growth team.  This role will help align business objectives with people strategies, including a focus on developing leaders and teams, driving organizational effectiveness, engaging our employees, fostering an inclusive culture, and prioritizing the highest impact solutions. 

What you'll do

  • Provide partnership and support in the areas of organizational design, organizational development including succession strategy, talent development and employee engagement
  • Identify and address critical organizational and people issues, and remove barriers impeding the success of the business
  • Identify and develop key talent and ensure they are provided with experiences that enable development and retention
  • Build performance management capabilities by coaching leaders to effectively address performance issues and deliver effective feedback
  • Coordinate with the COEs and Global HR partners to deliver HR programs to the business, including Engagement Survey, Leadership Developments Programs, Annual Rewards, Workforce Planning and Adobe for All initiatives
  • Model the Adobe Leadership Capabilities which includes Selecting Talent, Role-Modeling Check-In, Leading Change, Scaling the Business and Demonstrating Strong EQ

What you need to succeed

  • 7+ years of HR Business Partner experience, partnering directly with senior leaders
  • BA or BS degree
  • Ability to establish relationships and partnerships (internal and external) at all levels of the organization
  • Exhibit strong leadership and influencing skills, and design, implement, and lead change management initiatives
  • Functional experience and proven success in OD/OE concepts and practices
  • Proven track record demonstrating agility in an ever changing environment
  • Willingness to learn, grow and tackle expanded duties as business needs evolve
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to take sizable problems and break them into small manageable pieces
  • Ability to handle ambiguity with ease
  • Superb judgment and integrity, including excellent decision making skills and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work both tactically and strategically to get business needs met
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills, and skilled in use of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $131,900 -- $246,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
