Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides services for children and families to ensure a community without abuse, neglect and abandonment, so all children grow to their full potential. Based out of Orlando, FL, this position is responsible for:

• engaging the Family in the assessment process as well as the development of the initial Family Preservation Plan via a family team Meeting.
• using unique, life-altering experiences in order to guide and support others who are in some form of recovery.
• referring to patients recovering from addiction, mental health disorders or abuse.

 

Position Details:

Salary:  Starts at $16.00 - 19.06 / hr (rate is based on education and relevant experience). 

Schedule: Full time; Flexible schedule to accommodate families scheduled; this is NOT a 9-5 position

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required 
• Associate degree or higher preferred
• One year experience as a consumer, consumer relative, adoptive, foster, and/or biological parent to a child with a behavioral health disorder. required

Schedule:

• Must be able to complete a Three-Day new hire orientation; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientations are offered in Orlando, FL.

Other Requirements:

• Valid Florida Driver's License
• Must have experience working as a Family Partner previously or Personal experience with your own children in the Mental Health System. 
• Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test and TB Test.
