It processes approximately 25000 pieces of inbound/outbound mail (US Mail &amp; FedEx Mail) a month for the ICA tenants and state agencies. This position will sort inbound mail, prepare tracking sheets for signature mail as needed, participate in security screening of mail when needed, load vehicle and deliver and collect mail on an assigned several mail routes daily, prepare outbound mail on a folder / inserter on a needed basis, process outbound mail through postage meter or shipping software and prepare for various postage and package delivery vendor pickups. This position will operate various printers for the printing jobs for folding &amp; inserting, print electronic certified postage and the print letters for claimants. It will operate a large document scanner for purpose of scanning inbound mail &amp; document archival. It will also interact with ICA mail room customers directly or over the phone for general mail room questions.</span></p> </div> <div> <span>Job Duties:</span> </div> <div> <p><span>Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail; receiving and processing requests for various forms and booklets; operates postage/mail equipment, United Parcel Services, FedEx (Ship Manager) processing and Neo-Track System (computerized and manual); receiving and processing maintenance and service calls;<br/><br/>Responsible for maintains various logs and files; answers and directs phone calls. Process Express Mail (UPS), and certified mail, prepare mail for Tucson Shuttle for delivery; responsible for completing special deliveries and assignments; significant interaction with customers. Deliver mail internally, and externally using state vehicles;<br/><br/>Responsible for prioritizing workload of the immediate mail unit, sort incoming mail for distribution and dispatches outgoing mail. Responsible for computing basic mathematical calculations in operating and maintaining postal machines. Responsible for monitoring basic office/personal record keeping.</span></p> </div> <div> <span>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities (KSAs):</span> </div> <div> <p><span>KNOWLEDGE:<br/>Knowledge sufficient to oversee and participate in the collection, sorting, preparation and delivery of mail. <br/>Knowledge of Postal Regulations, correct meters, registering and certifying of mail. <br/>Knowledge of mail services sufficient to determine the most cost effective method. <br/>Knowledge sufficient to assume responsibility for correct metering, registering and certifying of mail.<br/>Knowledge sufficient to oversee and participate in maintaining routine office records and reports. <br/><br/>SKILLS:<br/>Skill in prioritizing workload of the mail unit. <br/>Skill in basic mathematical calculations. <br/>Skills in operating and maintaining postal machines.<br/>Skills in monitoring basic office recording keeping. <br/>Skill in planning work flows and schedule work. <br/>Skill in working well with others without losing sight of the task. <br/>Must have good organizational skills and keep all work areas clean, organized and free of unnecessary debris. <br/>Skill in handling difficult situations and deal with constant interruptions without losing focus. <br/>Skill in being flexible and using appropriate discretion when dealing with customers and coworkers. <br/><br/>ABILITIES:<br/>Ability to follow written and verbal directions; and maintain basic written records.<br/>Ability to work well and closely with others.<br/>Ability to operate and m
