Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will:
•Attend all high-risk deliveries as required.
•Be competent to perform internal and external transport of critically ill neonates as per transport policy.
•Responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, documenting and evaluating patients on invasive and non-invasive ventilation
•Assess and document patient outcomes via EMR. Perform SBAR and participate in rounds in ICU and NICU.
•Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility.
•Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Qualifications include:
•Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy required
•National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist required
•Active Maryland State RRT license required
•Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required
•Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to be obtained within 6 months
•Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Required
•Must obtain an Advanced Certification (NPS, ACCS, RPFT) within the 1st year of employment.
Work Schedule:
Full-time; 12 hour dayshifts + on call rotation
NICU RT's will be responsible for taking one 12-hour shift of on-call Monday- Thursday of every month.

$34.58 - $51.87
