About the role

Trusted by more startups around the world, AWS makes the power of cloud computing and AI accessible for all by giving founders everywhere access to the same technology that powers the world's largest companies. With experience gained from supporting hundreds of thousands of startups, we help founders prove that their world-changing ideas are possible — at any stage of growth or level of funding.

The AWS Startup Marketing team is seeking a seasoned, strategic Principal GMM Individual Contributor to serve as the primary interface between AWS Startup Marketing and the AWS Partner and Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) teams. The Startup Marketing team owns the overall messaging to the startup community and is accountable for a consistent brand and message throughout the customer journey — from idea to enterprise scale. In this role, you will work with the AWS Partner and WWSO team to define marketing growth strategies and scalable frameworks that help startup partners succeed at every stage of their journey. You will align go-to-market motions, develop maturity models for high-potential startup partners, and design enablement programs and joint marketing plan frameworks that drive AWS adoption. As a Principal IC, you will operate as a recognized subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to senior leadership — influencing across a broad set of worldwide stakeholders, resolving ambiguity where org priorities meet, and engaging strong ecosystem players to accelerate partner growth.
