Child Watch Associate (Part-Time)

Do you enjoy working with children? Are you available Mondays-Sundays 8:00am and 12:00pm and/or Monday and Friday night 4:00pm-8:00pm?

The Boroughs Family Branch of the YMCA of Central Massachusetts is looking for caring and dependable Child Watch Staff who possess initiative, strong communications skills and human relation skills for interaction with members, youth and parents.

The successful candidate is responsible for providing a safe and fun environment for Y children and their families, able to reflect and display the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Requirements: 

• Must be able to provide care and interact with children and youth in a positive manner
•  Must be at least 16 years of age
•  CPR/AED certified for children and infants 
• Able to become thoroughly familiar with the program guidelines and procedures after hire for the position

**Prefer applicants with experience in working with children aged 3 months- 12 years old

Currently looking for caring fun and compassionate individuals who are available for any or all of the following shifts:  

Weekly regular shifts

• Mondays-Sundays 8:00am-12:00pm. 
• Monday and Friday night 4:00pm-8:00pm

Looking for staff to be able to do at minimum 2-3 of those shifts on a weekly basis

Weekly shifts start August 26th, 2024 and go through June 15th, 2025. Training shifts start in August

Pay: $15.00 per hour. Plus, access to YMCA facilities for all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave.
