BlackRock’s Aladdin Business supports the investment process through the development, deployment and support of our enterprise investment management platform (Aladdin®), which is utilized by executives, portfolio management, risk management and operations teams.  The Aladdin Business provides strategic advisory and enterprise investment system services for our clients.  eFront® is our Private Markets suite of tools purpose built for teams investing in alternatives asset classes. Our diverse private markets client base is made up of external institutional asset managers, pensions, insurance companies, general partners, asset servicers and governments around the world.  Aladdin is the natural evolution of our long-standing investment in developing sophisticated and highly integrated analytics and systems for managing money. 

Relationship Management is part of the Aladdin Business focused on maximizing the value of the Aladdin product through engagement and education and working closely with clients to be their trusted consultant, problem solver, and business partner.  The Private Market Technical Markets Relationship Manager is a key point of contact and are charged with driving, deepening and growing relationships over time through product, and industry knowledge.  This client facing role is highly focused on understanding the needs and evolving priorities of client organizations to optimize the value we can bring to our clients by leveraging the capabilities of the entire Aladdin Business. 

    

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Own relationships with client teams and help them use Aladdin to achieve their firm’s goals 
  • Understand the client’s business challenges and provide impactful solutions, combining investment lifecycle expertise with your knowledge of private markets and our product suite 
  • Ensure client feedback on product is communicated to the Product Managers and is tracked through successful development and deployment. 
  • Partner with the client, as well as Aladdin Product Managers to support client’s development needs 
  • Assist clients in leveraging Aladdin to its fullest across the entire investment lifecycle and drive adoption across client teams 
  • Keep updated on regulatory and operational industry trends to help your clients stay ahead of changing times 
  • Builds strong relationships through direct engagement with business influencers​ both internally and externally
  • Engage with clients to define key strategic and tactical initiatives, leveraging your internal network to oversee and execute cross-functional project solutions 
  • Lead internal stakeholders’ discussions to guide and align priorities by bringing the voice of the client to the table 

Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of work experience in financial services or consulting, OR graduate level degree 
  • Strong interest in FinTech
  • Familiarity with private markets, the investment lifecycle and their workflows is strongly preferred 
  • Working understanding equity, fixed income and derivative markets and their operational workflows is a plus 
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients
  • Ambitious approach to large, complex projects, with a flair for problem solving
  • Self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and works well as part of a multi-disciplinary global team

Preferred Skills and Experience 

  • Prior experience in Aladdin, eFront, or other private markets financial technology is a plus 
  • Experience with SQL, UNIX or modern programming languages
For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$115,000.00 - USD$147,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance. USD$95,000.00 - USD$125,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
