SALARY RANGE: $85,000 to $90,000/annual
A variety of important factors are reviewed by HR when considering salary, including job duties, the applicant’s education and experience, all relevant internal equity considerations, department budget, and funding source.

*Must be able to travel and work evening/weekend hours, as needed

Position Summary: 
Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry is searching for a motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven candidate with proven experience in engaging and growing a donor pipeline to join our high-achieving team as Director of Development (DOD).
The DOD will work collaboratively with the Dean of the dental school and the Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations, Health Sciences as well as other stakeholders to support the advancement of the Kornberg’s mission of excellence in education, research, and patient care, with the goal of facilitating and managing activities to create and support a pipeline of annual and major giving prospects to achieve fundraising goals.
In collaboration with the Dean of the dental school and the Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Relations, Health Sciences, the Dentistry the DOD will lead strategic fundraising and alumni engagement initiatives and advancing the Kornberg’s philanthropic priorities.

Required Education and Experience: 
Bachelor's degree and at least six years of fundraising and/or related experience successfully utilizing the required skills and abilities noted below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
