We are seeking a Shop Lead to support our aftermarket repair and upgrade business in our Chicago PRO Services shop located in Bedford Park, IL. Building on centuries of pump design experience, PRO Services provides an array of services focuses on reducing equipment total cost of ownership and increasing plant output, including condition monitoring, predictive maintenance contracts, field service, engineered upgrades, inventory management, and overhauls for pumps and other rotating equipment.

Essential Responsibilities

May include:

• Review all Disassembly and Assembly Forms are complete and Accurate
• Create and review work scope with site engineer
• Work with purchaser to maintain needed shop supplies
• Ensure welding procedures are provided to welder
• Ensure balance reports, final inspection and testing forms are completed
• Ensure schedule is followed to maintain delivery dates
• Help Disassemble and Assemble pumps
• Customer facing for pump install and start up support (Local customers)

Position Requirements

Knowledge & Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse client group.
• Ability to troubleshoot in-depth issues with rotating equipment.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret pump drawings.
• Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues.

• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, time management, and prioritization skills.

• Proficient in relevant PC skills.
