What you will do:

 

  • Routinely makes sales calls with key account reps, crop consultants and other key territory stake holders.
  • Prepares an annual strategic plan outlining new growth opportunities.
  • Forecasts annual sales targets per product in respective territory.
  • Works closely with distribution management and sales teams to support, influence, monitor and drive sales.
  • Provides marketing and agronomic information to support the proper positioning of Loveland products.
  • Serves as a primary technical resource on all Loveland products and cropping systems within designated area.
  • Sells Loveland portfolio and technology benefits to sales teams and grower customers.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service by solving problems and creating solutions.
  • Advises growers and crop advisors on using Loveland products to improve plant health, crop yield and profitability.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with technical resources and key sales stakeholders to build product confidence by leveraging Loveland product trials, field days and field demonstrations.
  • Develops marketing support strategies, product positioning, presentations, and technical support as needed.
  • Interpret analytical data, like soil tests, to support and drive Loveland technology sales and adoption.

What you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Chemistry, Plant Science and Agriculture or other related field or experience equivalent from an accredited institution. Other degree holders may also be considered.
  • 10+ years of experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining sales activities, marketing strategies and customer services in the crop input industry preferred
  • Requires a strong industry network in the agriculture space.
