Job Description

The Production Service Manager emphasis is to provide a committed and high level of technical service, working in partnership with the Manufacturing Development Manager and Process Supervisor to produce glass containers at continuously improving levels of quality and efficiency.

The Production Services Manager will:  

• Manage department and discipline leaders in IS maintenance, mold repair, job change, forehearth and forming
• Provide technical and financial oversight in areas of accountability
• Collaborate with production teams to help them achieve their goals for safe, quality packed tons
• Drive adherence and compliance to Manufacturing Fundamentals in areas of accountability
• Responsible for managing and forecasting major projects

The Production Services Manager should have:

• Experience supervising and training employees and managing cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
• Be able to support job changes and improvement initiatives
• Project management skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Preference for bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong mechanical background
• Prior mold shop operation experience
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
• Glass manufacturing knowledge and experience desired

Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $102,000 and $140,000.   Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
