Hours and Pay  

  • PRN 
  • $39.50-$40/hour
  • Flexible Schedule

Job Description

  • Administer physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed physical therapist where therapy services are being provided.
  • Perform physical therapy treatment following the resident’s established plan of care which includes short and long-term goals, resident goals, and discharge planning.
  • Complete accurate and appropriate daily billing in Optima HCS for residents on caseload.  
  • Document resident progress in daily treatment encounter notes, weekly progress reports, recertification documentation, and discharge summaries in Optima HCS for each resident in which you provide therapy services.     
  • Provide ongoing treatment to residents using the most current techniques following appropriate physician orders, APTA guidelines, and the state practice act’s code of conduct/standards. 
  • Participate in facility care plan meetings, weekly rehab team meeting, company webinars, and interdisciplinary team trainings/conferences.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Position of Physical Therapy Assistant requires a degree from an APTA approved program.  Therapist must hold a current license in applicable state(s) where services are being contracted and provided. 

  • Current BLS CPR certification
