Job Summary:

The Maintenance Response Team Lead is responsible for leading response teams in quickly restoring equipment to operational condition during emergency breakdowns. This role requires the application of precision maintenance techniques and collaboration with production teams to enhance equipment reliability through Continuous Reliability Improvement (CRI) principles, defect identification and elimination, and root cause analysis (RCA). The primary objective is to reduce the mean time to repair by improving troubleshooting processes and making repairs more efficient.  This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Required Education/Experience:

• Experience in Maintenance and Equipment Troubleshooting:  Demonstrated experience in leading maintenance teams and restoring equipment during emergency breakdowns.  Strong background in using precision maintenance techniques and conducting root cause analysis (RCA).
• Safety Program Support:  Experience in actively supporting and monitoring safety programs in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Data Management and Reporting:  Proficiency in managing data and reporting within maintenance systems, such as the Maintenance Visibility Program (MVP), including accurate documentation of personnel, tasks, timing, and resource usage.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Leadership and Team Development:  Proven ability to motivate, train, coach, develop, and evaluate team members.  Strong communication skills for providing regular feedback and professional interaction with employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Continuous Improvement and Predictive Maintenance:  Knowledge of Continuous Reliability Improvement (CRI) principles and defect identification/elimination.  Experience in supporting Predictive Maintenance (PdM) activities and performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) analysis.
• Planning and Coordination:  Skills in collaborating with planners for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and job planning for future work.  Ability to share off-hour emergency call responsibilities and plan/kitting for emergency maintenance work.
• Professionalism:  Ability to maintain professional interactions with all employees, contractors, and vendors at all times.
