Lab Chemist

Description

Summary: This position requires professional training and experience in specific fields of study. Individual will be responsible, under the supervision of a Branch Manger, for managing projects from start up to completion.  In addition, you will be expected to develop good client / regulatory relations. At all times you will conduct yourself professionally and project Miller Environmental positively to employees and clients. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Conducting Experiments

· Analyzing Data

· Maintain Equipment 

· Recording Results

· Ability to work with a team

· Complete documentation of all activities, with follow-up reporting

Qualification/Requirements: 

• Valid Unrestricted Driver’s License 

• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Superior communication skills.

• Excellent project & time management capabilities. 
• A creative leader who is also goal driven and detail      oriented.
• Exemplify consistent professionalism, good humor and ethical      behavior.

• Strong problem solving, analytical and employee relations skills. 

• Ability to write reports, logs, SOPs and file permits

• Must pass DOT and Hazmat physical, drug and alcohol screening, and detailed background check

Education/Training/Experience:

· Bachelor's Degree in as a Chemist or relevant lab experience.

Work Environment

· The work is primarily performed in the lab onsite at the Woodstown TSDF facility for 8-10 hours per day. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. 

• To reduce      exposure to materials, workers often wear coveralls, gloves, shoe covers,      safety glasses, and additional PPE.
