In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate and efficient movement of goods and materials across warehouse, production, and packaging operations. From operating forklifts to managing inventory and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), you’ll ensure our processes run seamlessly and in compliance with the highest safety and food quality standards—including SQF, GMP, and HACCP.
Beyond daily tasks, you may support shipping and receiving, oversee material flow and storage, and contribute to process improvements that make our teams stronger. You may also have opportunities to lead or train team members, building collaboration while sharing knowledge. Schedule: Monday through Friday with Saturdays as needed
*1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Work Location: 5310 Historic Old Hwy 90, San Antonio, TX 78227
Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $26.22 Per Hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

Advanced Warehouse Team Member:
- Process shipping paperwork and documentation accurately and timely
- Maintains picking and loading schedule to ensure all orders are picked and shipped in a timely manner
- Coordinate truck movement to and from dock with yard driver
- Maintain driver pickup records to ensure on-time departure
- Process in-bound receipts
- Monitors inventory to ensure product is available to ship for the day’s shipments
- Tracks pallet slips and CHEP pallets to maintain proper inventory levels
- Runs report to monitor any picking discrepancies in reference to FIFO
- Verifies sku and quantity of product in locations
- Completes the status report of finished goods from production and loads to be picked and shipped
- Back-up Scheduler for customer pickups and daily appointments
- Respond to customer service questions and requirements on a needed basis
- Safe Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
- Evaluates, modifies, and designs warehouse policies and procedures to maintain Food Safety, Quality, and Integrity.
- Safely operate yard tractors and commercial vehicles (Class A CDL may be required).
- Perform inspections and routine maintenance on this additional equipment.
- Product Handling, Quality Control & Inventory Management
- Manage programs related to inventory control.
- Provide back-up support in the department lead’s absence.
- Food Safety & Sanitation Compliance
- Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for team on material control and enforce accountability.
- Team Collaboration, Leadership & Training
- Coordinate team activities, assign tasks, lead shift meetings, and train others in advanced operations.
- Documentation, Communication & Continuous Improvement
- Lead improvement projects, perform operator-based maintenance, and analyze variance causes.
