As a Senior Associate in the Digital Insights team, you will use your creativity and entrepreneurial mindset to contribute to our growth by building superior digital experiences for our customers. You will support key projects aimed at promoting growth for our Digital Product and Experience Teams, informed by a deep understanding of customer needs and competitor offerings. This hands-on role requires meticulous attention to detail and daily operational support to senior team members.

Job responsibilities

  • Carry out deep-dive assessments to consistently refresh our understanding of the market demand and offerings from new/existing competitors 
  • Utilize a mix of different primary and secondary research methodologies (e.g. quantitative, qualitative, and competitive research) that could help tell a clear story of our gaps and opportunities 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to “connect-the-dots” between internal and external datasets in order to provide a holistic view of Chase’s performance across key metrics     
  • Build subject matter expertise across different facets of financial services and synthesize findings to help drive efficient executive-level decision making
  • Gather and synthesize research findings into actionable insights, packaged and delivered in accordance with audience needs and priorities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Candidate should have a minimum 3+ years of competitive/consumer research experience  
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently structure problems, manage/analyze large data sets, execute analysis, and communicate findings
  • Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives and quickly switch focus across domain areas
  • Proven ability to deliver impact in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment while being thorough
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred 
  • Solid understanding of statistical principles, data analysis, and research methodologies
  • Prior experience working in the financial services industry a plus
