We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager, Global Retail Operations (Back of House) to set global standards and identify operational efficiencies that will contribute to our continued success, all while collaborating closely with stakeholders located all around the world.


In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing operational excellence and driving process improvement related to back of house activities, while collaborating closely with regional stakeholders and multiple functions located at the Global Office in Copenhagen. Focus areas will include inventory management, receiving, and stockroom organization, while upholding high standards of quality and service that Pandora is known for.  
 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement global standards and operational efficiencies for all back-of-house operations, including merchandise handling and stockroom organization
  • Defining measurable KPIs (key performance indicators) and necessary reporting that supports accuracy and timeliness
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) and consult on complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives with diverse teams across the organization, including (but not limited to) commercial, merchandising, technology, finance, and loss prevention teams
  • Partner closely with Loss Prevention and Finance teams to drive inventory accuracy and operational process excellence
  • Communicate with regional market teams and conduct visits to identify best practices and areas of opportunity  
  • Facilitate regular communication with market retail operations teams, with the goal of collaborating and coaching to ensure a high level of productivity and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of operational activities that support and drive a high level of customer engagement and selling activities
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in retail store operations, and implement relevant strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Furthermore, we are looking for the following competencies:

  • 5+ years of retail experience, specifically as a Store Manager, District or Regional Sales Manager, Retail Operations Manager or similar
  • Proficiency in working with large data sets and strong analytical skills 
  • Familiarity with retail/omni inventory management processes and software 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence across an organization and diverse teams
  • Ability to work both independently and in highly cross-functional teams 
  • Established track record in being able to deal with ambiguity
  • Working in a dynamic, changing and fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of proficiency in English
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office
