Job Title: AML Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Regulatory and Audit Remediation: Oversee regulatory relations, manage remediation efforts, and deliver effective resolutions.
• Reporting & Presentations: Develop custom reports and presentations related to regulatory matters, remediation progress, and key items for executive review, tailored to governance committees and forums.
• Communication: Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and updates.
• Business Unit Collaboration: Partner with business units to gather requirements, perform gap analyses, and prioritize system-related issues.
• Technology Collaboration: Translate business requirements for technical teams, analyze and evaluate necessary data to meet objectives.
• Data Analysis: Leverage strong analytical skills to evaluate and interpret data.
• Testing: Design test cases and scripts, execute tests, and document results to ensure quality and compliance.
• Regulatory Expertise: Quickly grasp relevant laws, regulations, and guidance, staying up-to-date in a dynamic regulatory environment.
• Professional Services: Provide leadership and expert guidance on client projects and implementations.
• Client Engagement: Facilitate workshops, conduct assessments, and lead strategic planning with clients.
• Travel: Open to occasional travel to support client needs.
• Client Relations: Build strong relationships and maintain clear communication with clients and business users.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 7 years as a Project Manager in the financial industry, with expertise in AML processes at consulting firms, product vendors, or banks.
• SDLC Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Methodologies: Proficient in Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies.
• Testing Expertise: Skilled in writing test cases, scripts, and test plans.
• AML Concepts: Strong understanding of AML, particularly in areas like transaction monitoring.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in PL/SQL for querying large database platforms (e.g., MS-SQL, Oracle).
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in engaging senior executives.
• Proactivity: Self-motivated and proactive in addressing challenges.
• Detail Orientation: Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on quality.

Education:

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech); a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Certifications:
