Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Bob's Steak & Chop House | FT Bartender for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

Bob's Steak & Chop House offers competitive rates, growth opportunities, health insurance and is open for dinner only, closed on Sundays, closed most major holidays and free parking.

Responsibilities

Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes.

Familiarity with the wine list and the stemware and appropriate garnishes used.

Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartenders manual. Jigger pour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros.

Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow sidework sheet.

Monitor inventory.

Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails

Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.

Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least two years bartending experience.
• Must have an extensive wine and spirits knowledge.
• Must have one-year of an upscale restaurant experience.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must have a valid TABC and Food Handlers Certification.
