Summertime is fun time at the club! We are looking for culinary talent to oversee our Courtside Café grill and pizza centric menu. Commitment to quality, efficient execution, and excellent customer engagement are key to success in this role.
Showcase your skills by preparing new menu items and daily preparation requirements, providing guidance to line cooks, conducting inventories, and ensuring sanitary and well-maintained food preparation areas, as well as safe food handling. The Courtside Cafe Cook is responsible for opening and closing kitchen procedures with the ability to accommodate customer needs in a timely manner.

What Does Success Look Like:
Your Impact
• Two or more years of culinary experience preferred
• Execute and oversee all food production for the courtside café, specializing in grilled items and artisan-style pizzas
• Able to cook proteins to pre-determined temperatures
• Necessary state Food Handler’s license(s)
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portioning standards
• Maintain efficient ticket times while upholding high culinary standards in a high-volume outdoor setting
• Ability and willingness to work outside
• Experience with grill cooking and pizza production
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
• Knowledge of specialized equipment: pizza oven, gas grill, POS terminal utilization
• Must possess knife skills, the ability to adjust preparations for flavor, and accommodate customer’s needs in a timely manner
