ROLE OVERVIEW:The Senior Manager of Social Programming is a managerial-level role in the UNINTERRUPTED Social Media team of The SpringHill Company (TSHC). This role will help lead social programming and manage the programmer team. We are seeking a highly tactical, analytical, organized, and creative candidate who can both coordinate expanding and evolving programming plans and program content that will empower our audience and break through algorithms. This role will collaborate with a range of departments within the organization to consistently deliver premium programmed content and work closely with the Director of Social to maximize our brand and original content marketing efforts. He or she will be responsible for precise management of the programming calendar and content, ensuring timely and high quality programming is launched across different departments—including editorial, branded, and marketing. The ideal candidate is fully plugged into the pulse of sports culture and the larger culture and conversation that surrounds it with a precise knowledge and deep passion for the athletes, conversation, and moments that will move the needle and drive storytelling for the UNINTERRUPTED brand. This candidate is an expert on all social media platforms and social best practices with the ability to use this social media knowledge, as well as their sports/athlete/culture knowledge, to contribute to thoughtful social storytelling packaging through content centered in audience growth, trends and best practices.
REPORTS TO: Director, Social (UNINTERRUPTED)
RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage and oversee social marketing planning, categorizing, and programming for select priority Studio and Original projects across UNINTERRUPTED channels; This would include but not limited to asset timecoding & creative direction, asset creation workflow and copywriting
Directly manage Social Programmer(s) in day-to-day operations
Own and maintain social programming and the master social calendar while ensuring social strategy is being implemented across all social touch points including UGC, original social content and branded social content
Lead all YouTube programming efforts with best-in-class practices and optimizations top-of-mind
Contribute to social programming strategies for social and creative formats/slate
Advise Director of Social on cultural and social media trends, best practices, and more to inform the creative direction of our content
Be the final QC eyes on all programming assets that are published to our platforms to ensure all content fits overall creative tone, look, feel, and voice for each franchise and/or branded partner requirements
Be attentive to overall performance on all programming assets once live
Liaise between all major content teams to ensure assets and content are posted at the correct times with the correct messaging points, graphics, and specs 
Consult and collaborate with all involved content teams to ensure social audience and digital distribution are top-of-mind 
QUALIFICATIONS: ​​At least 5-7 years in social media, with results to show via engagement and growth
2 years minimum in a functional managerial role for a social media or programming team
Experience overseeing the creation and implementation of multi-asset, multiplatform social media plans for editorial and promotional content
Deep knowledge of major Social Media content platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
Impeccable communication skills including summarizing creative concepts, distilling large amounts of data, and  building clear visual presentations
Strong organizational skills, and capability to multi-task across various projects
Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across numerous departmentsFamiliarity with the world of entertainment, music, and the wider landscape of sports and athlete culture
Working knowledge of project management software such as Monday
