Responsibilities:
The Branch Operations Manager supports sales and operational functions within their assigned territory with a focus on adopting efficient processes throughout the organization.
Key areas of oversight include:
- Accurate receipt and put away of inbound inventory.
- Timely and accurate customer order fulfillment.
- Completion of daily cycle counts and overall branch inventory accuracy.
- Maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of all locations within territory.
- Delivery fleet modeling, maintenance, and routing.
- New branch openings and current branch remodels.
- Inventory resets and returns.
- Determine adequate operational staffing levels and reduce turnover.
- Work with Regional/ Area Manager to deliver budgeted EBIT $ and EBIT %.
- Candidate should be able to drive results by providing leadership resulting in superior execution.
Requirements:
- 4-year college degree with an emphasis on business and finance, and/or a combination of relevant knowledge through job related experience & training
- Minimum five years related experience in the electrical industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with supervising employees
- Sales background and understanding of the customer
- Strong human relations skills including the ability to listen, influence and motivate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to solve practical problems with limited information.
- Working knowledge of Eclipse Information System and Microsoft Office
- Character compatible
