SAT Math Coach/Instructor Class 101

We are seeking a part-time ACT/ SAT coach/instructor to provide test prep in a classroom setting. Through our live instruction, online resources, and curriculum, we positively affect students nationwide by providing essential test-taking skills, leading to increased test scores. Class 101 provides our instructors with the tools, resources, and training necessary for successful instruction. 

This role is perfect for someone with a math or technical background looking to supplement their income. Classes are 2 to 3 times weekly when our courses are in session. Classes are taught during the evenings and on Saturday mornings.  This position will primarily teach classes in our Stuart, FL office and may occasionally fill in at our Port St. Lucie, FL office.  About us:

Requirements

• Positive Attitude

• Technology fluency
• This position does NOT require a teaching certification - we will train! 
• Strong math skills, including geometry, algebra 2, and pre-calculus (English Reading/Writing skills are a plus.)  
• Successful completion of Class 101’s instructor training
• Ability to work independently and report regularly
• Willingness to receive and implement instructional feedback
• Deep belief in the potential of all students and a deep commitment to helping students reach their full potential 
• Ability to analyze diagnostic reports and provide prompt and individualized feedback
• Ability to communicate and work with students and administration 
• Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate others
• Successful completion of a background check
