Mobile Floor Cleaner

Essential Functions • Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, Carpet Extraction, washing walls and glass, and cleaning hard surface floors. • Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems • Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. • Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities • Mobile cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. • Must be willing to willing to travel overnight on the road a week at a time. Position is 75% Travel. Transportation and lodging provided.

  Hourly Pay $18.50
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Basic Qualifications:

•  Must be 18 years of age or older 

•  Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available 

•  No experience required and on the job training provided

•  No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

•  Must be willing to willing to travel overnight on the road a week at a time

•  Must have a current Drivers license with no restrictions.

  Preferred Qualifications:
  •  Customer service experience  •  1 year of similar work experience
  Responsibilities:

Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours 

• Miscellaneous duties as assigned 
• Travel on the road to various assigned locations/ transportation and lodging provided.
• Drives vehicles (if required) to perform assigned scheduled work
• Must pass background check and MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)
• Must have a current Driviers license with no restrictions.
• May be expected to make basic repairs
• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures.
• Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks
• May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
• Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
• Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors
• Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment
• Gathers and empties trash
• Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures
• Services, deep cleans, and supplies restrooms
• Periodically cleans overhead vents, dusts blinds, and polishes wood furniture
• Cleans interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
• Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties

• Able to work at heights above 9ft and less than 30ft
