Floor Person Grinding

Tasks:

Perform equipment set-up and monitor department start-up. Retrieves product that is accidentally dropped on the floor and re-conditions it according to plant parts wash procedures. Assist in cleaning up as needed and cleans the floor periodically during operations and break times. Maintain the flow of production tanks. Push tanks into dumper, and dump as needed to keep line full of product.  Record tanks used, including ticket numbers, pounds and kill dates. Willing and able to obtain Pallet Jack/Tow Motor Operator certification.   Able to work with Plant View/SAP/EIM.  Other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Duties:

Willingness to work in a cold and wet environment. Willingness to lift as needed up to 40 pounds.  Must be able to read, write, and understand simple arithmetic in order to maintain department records.  Able to work with minimum supervision.  Able to perform essential job functions.

Rehire Consideration:

• Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
