PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr. Product Manager 1 - Technical in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Utilize Product Management or other relevant experience managing either REST APIs or Web SDK to research, interpret, and leverage data to make technical product decisions, lead product development from idea to launch and iteration.  Manage the development and maintenance of technology-focused products (SaaS, APIs, SDKs, Infrastructure, Platform) in an Agile SCRUM environment at scale. Adapt communication to the technical level of the audience (developers, product managers, and senior business leaders).  Drive product innovation by identifying new opportunities based on research, industry trends and best practices.  Identify resource needs, tools, and personnel to prioritize the implementation of product roadmap and eliminate backlog.  Conduct individual and team strategy sessions (stand up’s, retrospective, planning meeting, performance, etc.) at each project checkpoint and assess KPIs.  Perform design and code reviews and provides technical direction tall levels of designers, developers, and implementers.  Establish processes for monitoring frameworks, and analyzing production platforms, Unix servers and mission critical systems with logging/alerting and self-healing integration solutions. Telecommuting permitted - work can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Additional Job Description:

Salary: $150,426.00-204,600.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
