About the role

The IT Product Owner has the overall responsibility to serve as the technology partner for the GTM teams including quote to cash.  The role is to ensure that we implement and operate best in class processes for these process areas, using out of the box best in class SaaS platforms such as Salesforce.  This role needs to be the champion that can align the business with easier ways to operate and design and build those processes using our SaaS solutions. 

The IT Product Owners will have deep understanding of the key platforms and industry knowledge of efficient ways they can be used to enable the business, especially in a partner led sales motion.  The person needs to have the experience of successfully persuading the business to change how they have operated historically and is intimately familiar with successfully enabling Salesforce with minimal customization.    The primary platforms are Salesforce and Gainsight but working in parnership with Financial Force (Certinia) and NetSuite.     

  • Business Alignment:.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology for business process improvements and operational efficiencies.
    • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their objectives, challenges, and technology requirements
  • Process Leadership
    • Be familiar with best in class processes as used in the software industry for the prospect to opportunity as well as quote to cash, particularly for companies using partners such as resellers and MSP. 
    • Able to identify and remediate prior customizations and complex processes.
    • Experienced working with a subscription business model and eliminating credit rebill.
  • Technology Execution:
    • Experienced running Salesforce agile sprints.   Able to make quick yet reliable design decisions resulting in efficient easy to maintain software. 
    • Responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing the product backlog to maximize the value in new projects, maintain BAU items and prioritize for development.
    • Familiar with operating with IT General Controls and SOX.
    • Has established low-cost development centres and can leverage round the sun operating model.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between Internal IT and various business units, able to gain alignment from cross functional stakeholders to proposed designs.
  • People Management
    • Has a successful track record of developing and growing IT resources.
    • Plan and support tops-down and bottoms-up resource planning for project execution.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver technology solutions that meet business objectives and timelines.
    • Monitor project progress, manage and mitigate risks, to ensure successful implementation.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Evaluate and select external vendors, partners, and service providers to support IT initiatives.
    • Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and performance to ensure value and quality of services.
  • Change Management:
    • Facilitate change management processes, ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies within the organization.
    • Provide training and resources to end-users as needed.
  • Technology Innovation:
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends relevant to the industry and business needs.
    • Propose innovative solutions to address challenges and opportunities.

  • Can align business teams with simple yet efficient processes that you can design and build using our SaaS platforms.

The US base salary range for this position is $168,000- $252,000 base + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for bonus, incentive plans, and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
