Main purpose of the job:

Processing, assembling and finishing of products by means of operations specific to the catheter manufacturing activity.

 

Professional requirements:

• Completed secondary education
•  No previous experience in a similar position required
•  Skill, precision and thoroughness in performing specific operations
•  Observational and organizational skills, good judgement, ability to work under time pressure, communication skills, teamwork skills
•  Attention to detail and accuracy required to carry out the production processes
•  Ability to plan work and time
•  Personal hygiene

 

Responsibilities and specific tasks:

• Receiving the products, qualitatively and quantitatively, according to the instructions and the delivery documents (invoices or goods accompanying notes)
• Performing operations specific to the catheter manufacturing activity, such as:
  • Cutting plastic tubes
  • Welding (bonding) plastic components with a hot air device (or similar means)
  • Shrinking various plastic components with hot air devices or other specific machines
  • Fixing in place, clamping components to devices and machines
  • Inspecting components under a microscope and other specific equipment
• Checking, fixing in place and removing devices and tools, and adjusting them to the required work activity according to the work instructions.
• Taking care of the timely completion of all operations performed and tasks received at the level of quality required.
• Complying with all specified access and work requirements inside the cleanroom.
• Performing duties and work assignments in a safe and ethical manner in accordance with company policy.
• Maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace according to company regulations.
• Each worker must carry out his work, in accordance with his/her training and instruction and with the instructions received from his/her employer, in such a way that he/she does not expose  his/her own person or other persons who may be affected by his/her actions or omissions during the work process to the risk of injury or occupational disease.
