About the role

Benefits:

Summary of Position:

Responsible for overseeing all billing for service projects as well as employees’ time.

Essential Functions:

    Lead weekly team meeting 

    Review data input into accounting system to ensure accuracy, editing as needed prior to final billing

    Research and respond to various email inquiries

    Monthly invoice creation for specified customer(s), including cost updates, PO allocations, etc.

    Report creation for month end invoice processing

    GL Double checks to ensure accuracy at month end

    Update accounting records with new customer projects and billing details

    Reallocation of revenue as needed

    Supervise month end closing ensuring accounting team closes on time with accuracy

    Provide multiple monthly reports to VP of Operations for commissions’ calculations for all services billings.

    Provide miscellaneous billing reports to service and executive teams as requested (For example: Departmental Profit & Loss reports, & Forecast v. Actuals Summary)

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs.  Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.  The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.  The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.  Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and printer.  Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.

Required Education and Experience:

BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration    

10+  years of experience 

Qualifications:

    Proven working experience as billing clerk or general accounting experience

    Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

    Adherence to laws and confidentiality guidelines

    Proficient in MS Office

    Good organizat
